The Grand Tour Game - Materials - Detroit

Over the course of the past year and a half, I had the pleasure to work alongside some of the best and brightest to work on Amazon Game Studio's "The Grand Tour Game" based upon the Prime show.

I worked primarily as a texture and material artist, and this is a selection of work done for various tracks in the game. Additionally, I laid out the towing challenges. I also worked with co-developers, render engine devs, and technical director to work on draw calls and memory budgets to bring the highest visual quality while maintaining a steady framerate throughout the entire experience.

Additionally, I became known as the "vegetation guy" as I spearheaded the effort for veg optimization, documenting my processes to share with co-dev studios in multiple locations worldwide.

The Grand Tour Game is Amazon Game Studio's first PS4 and XB1 release using Amazon Lumberyard, as well as being the first game to release day and date with a weekly show, releasing 15 episodes over 15 weeks.
